Molar concentration (molarity) of 1% (w/v) borax solution.

1% (w/v) = 1 g/ 100 ml = 10 g/ 1000 ml = 10 g/ 1 liter

Molar mass (molecular weight) of borax = 381.37 g/ mole.

Molar concentration = number of moles/ volume of solution in liters

Number of moles = mass/ molar mass
                             = 10 g/ (381.37 g/ mole)
                             = 0.026 mole

Molar concentration = 0.026 mole/ 1 liter = 0.026 M.
